Conviction Single Barrel 7 Year Old Straight Bourbon Whiskey 750ml

I ordered three bottles from Southern Grace Distillery. All were carefully wrapped and boxed. Great job!!! I would trust you folks to ship bottles again in the future. Now, shipping and related charges were not cheap. I was aware of all of these charges before I hit the final send button. Shipping of $18.49 is reasonable. However, I was strongly encouraged to purchase what amounts to insurance for an additional $11.10. So shipping is now up to $29.59. It is not reasonable to have shipping without insurance. So, I'm paying $10 more per bottle for shipping. Again, my decision and I just cannot get these bottles anywhere near where I live.
The site also encouraged me to include a tip. A simple 10% was an additional $21.41 cost. So now I'm paying more than $50 to ship the 3 bottles. Did I need to tip, maybe not. Again I was encouraged to tip, so I was not sure what would happen if I did not tip. I will not describe all the ways my I thought my order could be "messed with". This is probably more a statement about my paranoia.
To summarize, great service, very prompt...however, the service cost me $15+ per bottle. So, when I really want a bottle, I'll use this service, but I will do so judiciously. Maybe I'll cut out the tip in the future.

It's delicious

"A very nice cask strength bourbon with very nice caramel, baking spices, a great mouth feel, and a deep smooth oak finish."

The bottle shown on the website was not what I received. If you send out a different proof than advertised on the website it should be noted during the sale.

Great whiskey plus fast and well packaged shipping.
