Southern Grace Distilleries was founded on the simple yet strongly held belief that a group of friends, through tireless effort and a relentless commitment to quality, could make world-class whiskeys. Conviction Straight Bourbon Whiskey goes from grain to glass entirely on the Southern Grace property, aging in the original 1929 Prison Dormitory. Conviction is a sour mash whiskey in the old tradition. It is barreled at 105-proof and bottled at cask strength after aging four to six years. It has a smooth, sweet finish with strong vanilla, clove, and brown sugar notes. Conviction was awarded Best Bourbon at the New Orleans Bourbon Festival, a Gold Medal at the MicroLiquor Spirit Awards, a Double Gold Medal at the Fifty Best Bourbons Competition, and a Gold Medal at the New York International Spirits Competition.
